AIR ASSISTED SMOKELESS FLARE TIPS Allied Flare, Inc. Air Flare Tips offer smokeless flaring of many waste gas streams. Air assisted tips have fewer utility requirements, and lower associated operating costs than comparative steam tips. Gas stream can be run through either the internal flare stack riser, or through an external duct allowing for efficient design. Air or gas diffuser vanes optimize mixing for more efficient operation, and extended service life. Tip size and required airflow are calculated based on the customers design criteria. Vane axial fans can be incorporated in the base of the flare for lower pressure drop through the air duct, resulting in more efficient operation. Larger blowers can be set adjacent to the flare and ducted to the air riser. top CONSTRUCTION Mixing vanes, and internal ductwork in the upper four feet of the flare tip are constructed of .188" thick 310 Stainless Steel alloy. The higher alloy materials last much longer in this harsh service environment. Air ducting is fitted with sliding guide shoes to compensate for thermal expansion of the gas riser when required. Standard raised face flanges are utilized for stack connections to ease future maintenance. Plate flanges cut to standard templates are used for air ducting. This results in decreased duct weight, and substantial cost savings. All carbon steel portions are finished with a commercial sandblast, inorganic zinc primer, and high temperature aluminum based topcoat. up top |
