PIPE VENT TIP Pipe Vent Tips are designed to release vapors, have minimal back pressure, and require the least possible amount of "sweep" gas. Purge seal elements are used to prevent air from flowing back into the tip. Thermocouple temperature sensors can be added to the tips to sense and warn of high temperature, and the risk of damage to the tip. Flame quenching systems are available to extinguish the tip when it ignites. top CONSTRUCTION Material thickness of no less than .188" wall is used to withstand repeated ignition. Different grades of material can be used to suit client specification. 304 Stainless Steel is a minimum for the upper four (4) feet . All carbon steel portions are commercially sandblasted, and coated with an inorganic zinc primer. A topcoat of high temperature aluminum based paint, or paint to meet client specification is then applied. Standard raised face flanges are used for ease of future maintenance. up top |
