Air Assisted Smokeless Flare Tips
VENT TIP DESIGNS
Allied Flare, Inc. offers several different vent tip designs. Standard "Pipe Type" vent tips, and high pressure "T-burner" or sonic velocity vent tips are the most common. top
PILOT IGNITION
Pilot burners can be ignited by either Flame Front Generator, or by Electronic Spark ignition. Flame Front Generators are historically the most common method of igniting pilot systems. Spark ignition systems require less maintenance during use, and respond much more quickly. top

MOLECULAR SEAL & FLUIDIC VELOCITY SEAL
Molecular seals and Velocity or fluidic seals are used to limit the required "sweep flow" or "purge flow". A "sweep flow" is required to prevent air impingement in the process header when there is little or no process flow going to the flare. Should air enter the Flare or vent header, a release of process gas could result in a combustible mixture present within a restricted area. The ignition of this gas - air mixture can result in an explosion, and cause severe equipment damage. top
FLARE STRUCTURES FLARE STACK SUPPORT
Allied Flare, Inc. can design and fabricate several types of flare stacks. Guy Wire supported flare stacks offer excellent economy where space is available. Derrick Supported stacks are very effective when location will not permit the anchoring of guy wires. For shorter flare systems the flare stack can be self-supporting. Flare stack support systems are designed for each clients specific needs. Structures can be optimized to make the best possible use of available space, and minimize cost. Based on site-specific requirements a self-supporting, guy wire, or derrick supported flare can be specifically designed. top
