STEAM ASSISTED FLARE TIPS Allied Flare, Inc. Steam Assisted flare tips are available in a variety of configurations. Upper steam ring tips offer a cost-effective means of reducing smoke emissions from a flare tip, or for rendering small amounts of light hydrocarbon smokeless. Upper steam ring tips fitted with internal steam nozzles offer greater smokeless capacity as well as prolonged service life. The inner steam injection acts to keep the flame burning above the upper edge of the tip, as well as cool the stainless flare tip itself. Smokeless flare tips featuring a variety of steam injection nozzles are available to increase the amount of steam injection. Internal air ducting tubes can also be included within the flare tip to increase smokeless capacity. top CONSTRUCTION All tips are manufactured of the highest quality materials. Material tracing records are maintained to ensure compliance with material specifications. Wall thickness of flare tips is no less than .188" to better endure the harsh temperature fluctuations. The upper portion of the flare tip is constructed of 310 Stainless Steel alloy for long service life. Cost savings, as well as future maintenance convenience are improved by using standard raised face carbon steel flanges for tip connection All carbon steel portions are finished with a commercial sandblast, inorganic zinc primer, and high temperature aluminum based top coat, or paint to match customers specification. up top |
