UTILITY FLARE TIP Offering great affordability, Allied Flare, Inc. Utility Flare Tips are designed for long service life. They are capable of flaring a wide range of waste streams, and are primarily used for non-smoking gasses, or offshore installations. Stainless Steel "Flame Spoilers" are used at the tip to reduce flame impingement and increase tip life. Flame retainers duct a small flow of waste gas over the pilot burners to ensure ignition. top CONSTRUCTION Upper six (6) feet of utility tips are constructed of 310 Stainless Steel alloy for durability and long service life. Flame spoilers are constructed of .188" plate for long life. All flare tips are constructed of a minimum of .188" wall thickness plate or pipe for extended service life. Connection flanges are standard raised face flanges for future maintenance. All carbon steel portions are finished with a commercial sandblast, followed by application of an inorganic zinc primer. A high temperature aluminum based top coat, or paint to match customers specification, is applied following the primer. Material tracing records are retained to ensure all components comply with material specification. up top |
